Polegate’s very own pantomime Dame Widow Twankey played by Adam Riggs and Wishee Washee played by Mcauley Park light up the town by switching on the Christmas lights ahead of the upcoming pantomime season.
Last weekend crowds gathered in Polegate High Street for The Polegate Christmas Fun Day a truly wonderful event hosted by Ace Events which brought joy and entertainment to the community.
The town’s Cllr Dan Dunbar Mayor of Polegate commented “I thank everyone for making it a success. It was fantastic to see the crowd gather for the integral Christmas light switch on and I had the pleasure to be joined by Widow Twankey & Wishee Washee from Polegate Drama Group. Once again thank you to team at Ace Events for arranging the festive afternoon and to PJ Skips for donating our Christmas tree this year.”
