Polegate Town Council would like to extend its sincere thanks to Balfour Beatty for their incredible support during a recent volunteer day at Jubilee Nature Reserve.
Members of the Balfour Beatty team generously gave up their time to take part in this Polegate Town Council-led event, helping to advance future projects and plans for the reserve.
A remarkable amount of work was completed in a short space of time, including the relocation of a large quantity of logs. These materials will now form a bug hotel, creating valuable habitat for wildlife, while also helping to establish a natural seating area for residents, visitors and future volunteers to enjoy.
The volunteer effort has made a meaningful contribution to the ongoing development of the reserve and will help support the Council’s vision for enhancing this important community green space.
