A27 Falmer to Coldean

Residents are advised that National Highways will be carrying out pavement survey works on the A27 between Falmer and Coldean during October.

To allow the works to be completed safely, there will be overnight closures of the A27 in both directions between 8:00pm and 6:00am on the dates listed below.

A27 Eastbound Closures

• 11 October (one night)
• 17 and 18 October (two nights)

A27 Westbound Closures

• 24 and 25 October (two nights)
• 31 October (one night)

Diversion Routes

Westbound traffic:

• Via the A259 and A26

Eastbound traffic:

• Via the A259 and A23 from Patcham
• Via the A270 from Falmer

Emergency Access

Access will be maintained for Emergency Services throughout the works.

Motorists are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra time when travelling during the closure periods. We thank residents for their patience while these essential surveys are undertaken.
