A27 Lining Refreshment Scheme – Beddingham Roundabout to Polegate Interchange
We have been informed by Highways England that A-one+, on behalf of Highways England will be carrying out the refreshment of white lining and stud replacement along the A27 between Beddingham Roundabout and Polegate Interchange.
In order to carry out these works as efficiently and safely as possible, work will be carried out under phased overnight full carriageway closures between 8pm and 6am from Monday 21 September 2020 to Tuesday 6 October 2020. No weekend working and the works are weather dependent.

Emergency vehicles will be provided with access through the works at all times.
Residents with access only from the A27 will be provided with escorted access from the manned closure points though there may be a short wait whilst the works area is made safe.
Diversions: A clearly signed diversion will be in place suitable for all types of vehicles.
Eastbound Diversion: Vehicles travelling east on the A27 will be diverted onto the A26 at Beddingham Roundabout. Follow the A26 southbound to join the A259 eastbound at Newhaven. Continue on the A259 to Eastbourne. Take a left turn onto the A2270 (Upperton Road). Follow the A2270 to Polegate Interchange to re-join the A27 eastbound.
Westbound Diversion: Follow the above diversion in reverse.
