If you are visiting Brightling Road Leisure Ground, please remember to close the gate behind you when entering or leaving.

The area is regularly used by dogs and young children. Keeping the gate closed helps ensure their safety.

Due to recent dry weather and ground movement, large holes, cracks and uneven areas have developed within the field, creating potential trip hazards. Additional holes may also have been dug by dogs, foxes and other animals.

Please take extra care, keep to safe routes where possible, watch your step, and avoid any damaged or sunken areas. Children should be supervised at all times, and dogs should be kept under control and away from holes or collapsed areas.

We are inspecting the area and arranging remedial works where required.
