Have you experienced flooding, or are you worried about it?
Join us to reflect on the flooding in Polegate earlier this year and explore how everyone can be better prepared in the future.
- contribute to a community flood story, bringing together the experiences of residents, first responders and authorities to understand more fully what happened in January.
- help us create a guide for residents with advice on things to do before and during a flood, based on your experiences.
- find out more about ways you, your neighbourhood, and the community can reduce the impact of future flooding, and what support is available to help you take action.
- talk with representatives from the Environment Agency, East Sussex County Council, and Blue Heart to find out how they manage flood risk.
We’ll have activities for children, and free light refreshments.
Please come along and join the conversation!
