We’re undertaking drainage and resurfacing works on the A27 between the Patcham Interchange and A27 Lewes Road.
To undertake these works safely, we’ll need to have day and night-time lane closures with speed restrictions and overnight closures of the A27.
Closure information:
Eastbound overnight closures
• Friday 21 and Saturday 22 March (8pm to 6am)
• Saturday 29 March to Sunday 6 April (8pm to 6am)
Daytime lane 2 closures both directions
• Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 March (9.30am to 4pm)
Westbound overnight closures (including the B2123 on slip road)
• Saturday 29 March to Saturday 12 April (8pm to 6am)
From Saturday 29 March to Friday 6 June there will be a reduced lane width to lane 2 and speed restriction of 50mph in both directions.
East and Westbound carriageway overnight closures including B2123 on slip road
• Tuesday 27 May to Friday 6 June (8pm to 6am)
Diversion:
Traffic will be diverted via A23 into Brighton A270 east to re-join the A27 at Lewes Road in both directions.
