Have Your Say: Verge Cutting in Polegate
Polegate Town Council currently funds 13 additional grass verge cuts each year, on top of the 2 cuts provided by East Sussex Highways, to help keep our town looking neat and tidy. This costs the Town Council around £30,000 annually. We do not currently use a cut and collect system due to cost, but this may be reconsidered in future. As part of our commitment to biodiversity and responsible spending, we’re asking residents to share their views on how verges should be managed going forward.
