Polegate Town Council has continued to provide its core services to residents throughout the coronavirus pandemic. From 1st September we will be re-opening our office in the High Street from Monday -Friday 9am-1pm
From 1/9/21 those who are unable to access services online or over the telephone will once again be able to visit the Town Hall offices in the High Street. The office will be open to the public between 9am and 1pm Monday to Friday. We will be asking that face masks are worn when visiting the office. This is to protect you and our staff and will help us to keep essential services going.
Mayor of Polegate, councillor Douglas Murray, said: “I am incredibly proud that the council has continued to provide services throughout the coronavirus crisis. Our staff have done a great job over the past year, ensuring that our residents continue to receive the same level of service they would normally expect and also helping to set up a community hub to deliver crucial food and supplies to people isolating during the crisis and well being calls to ensure the isolated had some one to connect with”

Those volunteers made a huge positive impact on our most vulnerable and isolated residents during a very tough time, so a huge thanks for your assistance.

I am aware that there will be some members of our community who are unable to access our services online or over the telephone, and so from Wednesday 1st September, they will be able to visit our offices in person without an appointment”
