Gift Card Scam
Please be aware that a new scam involving stolen, inactive gift cards has been reported. Scammers are stealing these cards, then calling stores and aggressively claiming they paid for them but weren’t properly activated.
To help protect customers and stores, ensure gift cards are kept securely behind the counter and ONLY activated in-store with proof of purchase. NEVER activate a card over the phone.
