Wealden District Council is excited to share that the Wealden Community Sports Hub will open in Summer 2026! The Council is working with Leisure United to deliver this brand-new multi-sport hub, which is designed to bring local sports and community activities together in one accessible location in Hailsham.
Leisure United would love to hear from local organisations interested in learning more about the Hub and exploring opportunities to use its fantastic facilities.
Where is it?
Just 1km from the Boship roundabout, along the A267 at Knights Farm East, Lower Dicker, Hailsham (BN27 4DP). It’s easily accessible by car, public transport, and close to the Cuckoo Trail for cyclists and walkers.
What’s on offer?
- 2 full-size floodlit 3G football pitches
- 4 floodlit netball/tennis courts
- 2 floodlit padel tennis courts
- Children’s play area & skate park
- Running, cycling & walking track
- Community café & flexible community space
- Changing facilities (including a Changing Place)
- 195 car parking spaces (with EV charging)
- Cycle parking & coach drop-off area
A hub for the community
This is your community space. We’d love to see local schools, voluntary and community organisations and sports clubs make the most of these facilities, whether for training, matches, community events, social activities, or simply meeting friends in the café.
