Wealden District Council is offering a one-off £50 payment per eligible school-aged child to help with back-to-school costs such as uniforms, shoes and stationery
  • Available to Wealden residents aged 18+ who have responsibility for one or more school-aged children living in their household
  • Applicants must receive at least one qualifying benefit, including Universal Credit, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction, PIP, DLA, Carer’s Allowance and others
  • Payments are made directly by BACS
  • This is a limited-time scheme and funding is allocated on a first come, first served basis, so eligible families are encouraged to apply as soon as possible
  • Only one application per household is permitted
